ANSYS is an engineering simulation software for engineers and designers to virtually analyze how is their products and its parts works in real environment, at different stage of product design. ANSYS software is being used across a wide range of industries to analyze various performance parameters such as signal integrity, electromagnetic interference, thermal issues, and mechanical failure. ANSYS has a whole set of keys for you to perform simulation of structural aspects of a single product or complex interactions of subsystems.

Prerequisites:-

Can access computer system and make use of internet to perform search over Google.

 

Need to Prepare?

Basic knowledge of mechanical system and automobile engineering would be appreciated.

 

Tools Expected:-

Windows OS based PC, Smart phone with Internet, Notebook and Pen

 

Tools Used (for the session):-

Software for designing, Digital toolkit of PPTs , Study material for all participants

 

Concepts:-

Aero and Fluid Dynamics, CFD basics, CAD, CAM, CAE etc.

 

Summary:-

The workshop addressed about Ansys which allows its users to analyze large product models before actual manufacturing. It imparts skills needed to develop the product design and use the simulation methods to sort out any challenge related to product engineering.

 

Project:-

  • Making a simple vertical wind mill and performing its analysis for any velocity of wind
  • Liquid flow analysis in in simple pipe with a nozzle
  • Spring mass system analysis
  • Sandwich laminated beam model analysis for vibration
  • Truss analysis of simple suspension system
