Land Surveying & Remote Sensing

Land surveying refers to a science of measurements and survey for determining physical and cultural details. Surveyor experts can become members of various real state professions. The electrical-optical instruments used for surveying is commonly known as total station.

The modern Total Station we used foe surveying is a combination of electronic theodolite, Electronic Distance meter and software for data collection and analysis. The career perspective of this technology and practice are Civil Construction Companies, Surveying: Survey and Land records, Disaster Management and Archaeological Survey.

Prerequisites:-

Can access computer system and make use of internet to perform search over Google.

Need to Prepare?

Basic Concepts of Civil Engineering.

Tools Expected: –

Windows OS based PC, Smart phone with Internet, Notebook and Pen

Tools used (for the session):-

Required Software tools and Total Station.

Surveying, Coordinate System, Remote height, Area of Volume, Error & Control Point Establishment etc.
