Revit Architecture

Autodesk’s Revit Architecture is an Engineering Software used for Building Information Modelling by architects, structural engineers, engineers, and contractors. It allows users to design building and its different components in 3D, annotate the model with 2D drafting elements and access building information from the building models database. It has tools for planning and tracking various stages in the building’s lifecycle from the concepts to construction and future demolition.

Prerequisites: –
  • Can access computer system and make use of internet to perform search over Google.

Need to Prepare?
  • Prior programming experience is not required. Basic knowledge of Civil Engineering with design concepts will be appreciated.

Tools Expected: –
  • Windows OS based PC, Smart phone with Internet, Notebook and Pen

Tools Used (for the session): –
  • Sample Codes, Software, PPTs, Reference Materials

Concepts:-

Design Concepts, Modelling, Building Plan, Design Methods and Techniques, Using walkthroughs, Analysis Processes etc.

Summary:-

This workshop will address about the concept of construction with a coordinated and consistent model-based approach.

Highlights & Practical Experiences:-
  • Building element energy analysis
  • Enhanced structural analytical model
  • Work-sharing – multiple users save their work to a central file
  • Parametric components – graphical system for design
  • Capturing of design ideas in a photorealistic state
  • Reduction of project cost with cloud-based rendering.

Commitment:-
