Voice Based Automated Home

Voice can have all the fun. Yes we can have a system which can be controlled with just voice command and that too remotely. With voice command like “ON” or “OFF” we can make our appliances on or off at any point of time and from any point of location. Most fun part is these can be implemented by our school students from 8th to 10th. Isn’t it can be proved to be milestone project for a school going student. Our mentors from professional ground will explain all the assembling and implementation concepts in a ease to understood pattern for any school student.

Prerequisites:-

Can access computer system and make use of internet to perform search over Google.

Need to Prepare?

Prior programming experience is not required.

Tools Expected:-

Windows OS based PC, Internet Connection, Smart Phone, Notebook and Pen

Tools Provided (for the session):-

Arduino Board, HC – 05 Bluetooth Module, 12V Relay, 1 KΩ Resistor, Power Supply, Connecting Wires, Breadboard (Prototyping Board) and App for transmitting voice to Bluetooth

Concepts:-

Operating System, Logic, Integrated circuit, Arduino,IDE, Basic of electronics, Sensors and Motors

Summary:-

This workshop will be addressed with hands-on session to design a Voice Activated Home Automation system, where different appliances are controlled by sending a Voice Command.

Project:-

Designing, Development and Controlling of Home devices using Voice Commands.

  • What is sensor?
  • IR sensor basics
  • Interface IR sensor to learn about digital Inputs
  • LED pattern as output based on inputs from the sensor
